TERMS AND CONDITIONS

GENERAL HEALTH

This puppy was examined at 3-5 days of age during tail/dewclaw removal and at 6 weeks of age during the first vaccination exam by a Licensed Veterinarian.  At 6-9 weeks of age, this puppy was examined by a Certified Ophthalmologist for congenital eye defects.  This puppy was found to be free of any hereditary conditions, able to be determined at this age, unless indicated:    None found                                              .

WOODLANDS will replace this puppy or refund the purchase price, buyers' choice, should this puppy be found, within 1 month of adoption, to have a hereditary condition which would render this puppy unfit for the purpose for which it was purchased.

.GUARANTEE

This puppy is bred from a long line of Champion quality, sound dogs that have been tested and certified free of hereditary diseases.  Should your puppy EVER be affected with ANY hereditary disease, upon WOODLANDS receiving a statement of clinical symptoms and diagnosis and a receipt of spay/neuter from your Vet, on the Clinics letterhead, you/Buyer will be offered a replacement puppy at 1/2 the costs,

from a litter of breeders choice.  No return of affected puppy is required for replacement to be given, however, this is an option the WOODLANDS does keep open, if owner/buyer is considering euthanasia

of the above named puppy.

Clause:  This guarantee is considered null and void if the affected dog has produced a litter, at any time in his/her lifetime.

AGREEMENT

I/Buyer understand that by adopting this well-bred, healthy puppy from WOODLANDS, I am becoming a very important part of their breeding program.

I/Buyer understand, and agree to, the requirement of providing WOODLANDS with occasional photos and letters, keeping them informed on this puppys progress as he/she becomes an important member of my family.

I/Buyer understand, and agree to, the requirement of attending, with my new puppy, a minimum of one session of Basic Obedience Training.  A copy of the "graduation" (attendance) certificate must be sent to Woodlands for their records.

I/Buyer understand that I MUST spay/neuter this puppy, by 1 year of age, and send a copy of the receipt, on my Vet Clinics letterhead, to WOODLANDS, at which time I will receive via mail the ASCA and AKC registration papers.

I/Buyer agree to never abuse this puppy and keep in the best of health for his/her lifetime.

I/Buyer understand that this puppy must be returned to WOODLANDS unconditionally - I can NEVER place or give up ownership to ANY OTHER PERSON(S) or ANIMAL SHELTER, if this puppy does not work out for my situation.

CONFISCATION CLAUSE

WOODLANDS reserves the right to, and will, confiscate any dog we have sold or placed if it is found that the buyer has breached this contract OR is abusing the dog in any way.  This includes, but not limited to: physical abuse, or keeping the dog in such a way that it endangers the life of the dog or the safety of persons coming in contact with the dog.  In such case, WOODLANDS will pay the expense of confiscating and transporting the dog.  It is our most sincere hope we NEVER have to invoke this clause; however, the buyer agrees to forfeit all refunds/adjustments as outlined in this contract.  The buyer also forfeits any recourse of action against WOODLANDS if this clause is invoked.  This will only be enforced in the most extreme situations.

ADDITIONAL TERMS:

               Repeating that his puppy must be neutered by 1 yr of age and a copy of the surgery receipt sent to breeder._ I, Breeder, will then send you his ASCA & AKC registration papers.                                     .
